I. Application range
    KL-D·IV electrical operation bed is applicable for the clinic operations in operation rooms.

II. Structural characteristics

KL-D·IV electrical operation bed has a top-panel composed of five movable boards including head board, back board, hip board, thigh board and crus board. This top-panel supports 6 kinds of body positions by electric hydraulic control which controls the lifting and lowering, forward and backward tilts and leftward and rightward tilts of the top panel, the upward and downward folding of the hip board, the upward and downward folding of the leg boards, and the locking and unlocking of the base. The changes of the angles of the head board and crus board are adjusted manually through pneumatic spring.

KL-D·IV electrical operation bed can control various body positions through two kinds of control panels, i.e., one handy controller and one supplementary control panel. When the handy controller fails, the supplementary controller may be used to control the bed.

This operation bed charges the storage battery in the machine by the power supply from the power mains. When in normal operation, the bed shall be cut off from the power mains, and powered by the storage batteries. When the storage batteries are in shortage of power, its allowable to plug the power cord into the AC power socket to continue the operation of the bed. However, such operation shall only last for short time, otherwise the life of the storage batteries will be impacted.

This bed adopts the eccentric column design and supports the switching between Body Position A and B (see Fig. 3), so it realizes the C-arm X-ray machines photograph of the whole ranges of body positions. It also supports the X-ray photograph by a cassette. The maximum size of the photograph is 35.6mm×43.2mm (14in×17in). (The cassette shall be selected according to the body part needing photograph and the actually allowable size of the cassette.)

This operation bed has a Convex Top-panel key and a Concave Top-panel key to provide convenience to the operations on gallbladder or kidney. This bed has a HorizontalnessReset key to reset the whole top panel of the bed to the horizontal position.

The frame of top panel, cover of column, base and accessories all are made of high-quality stainless steel, which can improve their strength for use and facilitate their cleaning and sterilization. The bed is also equipped with some accessories to support various functions in order to meet the need of different operations and expand its range of clinic application.
